One average persons philosophy on life based on the belief that we are all equal brothers and sisters in the image of god. This is an attempt by a person of average intelligence to offer his understanding of life and a better way to live. As the name implies, and Dennis Miller would say, tis is my opinion..I could be wrong.

The Value of learning all subjects in all grades in school is essential

The Value of learning all subjects in all grades in school is essential.

As an individual of assumed average intelligence, I have struggled with the idea of prepping primary education students for success in life.

If all humans begin as equal organisms created in the image of perfect god, it seems to follow that societal nurture is kind of the path. At least, its the only path that we can control. It seems that since brains are the organism controller, that developing a brain with the best training, most knowledge, and best habits would lead to success regardless of race, gender, body type, etc. It also seems that all knowledge ( productive knowledge),
should be learned. Part of the value of study and learning IMHO is that the struggle and pain associated with learning and any skill acquisition. This struggle seers in the lesson or skill and is essential to embedding the skill, knowledge, or value. This is a no pain no gain attitude. If this is correct, then social promotion, or equity points for admission to higher skill points counteracts the learning process by removing the imprinting through pain and struggle. You are also almost assuring failure of those socially promoted by introducing lesser the skilled with the higher skilled, there is no time for the lesser skilled to play catchup.

It is practically impossible for an untrained runner to start a race against trained atheletes 20 yards behind and have any chance of winning.

This point is that learning in the primary system and in all systems is incremental. The knowledge gained in prior levels is the necessary building block foundation for higher learning at subsequent levels. This is fundamentally why all need to learn all productive knowledge at each stage or grade on the first pass and seer it in. Any knowledge unlearned leaves the individual at a deficit to the proficient counterparts. It is essential that that all unlearned knowledge or knowledge not seered in be relearned and seered in.

Take this "writer" as an example. English and Vocabulary was never my strong suit. Duh says the reader. Now when I have a desire or need to write to convey information, the skill is not there. The product is lacking. Now, i must go back and relearn and redevelop skills not acquired at an earlier age. It is a tough pill to swallow. It is however necessary medecine for the patient to recover and thrive. The patient wishes he would have learnd this the first time around.

So that, in a long winded string of words, is the point. As education systems, both primary and secondary have failed many of us, we must go back and relearn and seer in the knowledge for us to be whole. There are alternative systems springing up to be more effective at the secondary level. There is also a need for adults to have access to an alternate primary education relearning tool to prepare,( bring those failed or failed themselves at the primary level ) / bring them up to speed so they can access and succeed at the secondary education system level.

Use of social promotion or equity remedies only serve the provider with a sense of compassion as a provider of access to another someone. This is an easy path of instant gratification for both. Social promotion actually harms the recipient by giving them access to an opportunity for which they are partially or wholly unprepared. It is essentially a system that perpetuates both the failure of the remedy and the need for continued social promotion system remedy. The better but harder path is actual learning and actual teaching where the knowledge is seered in thru hard work and true achievement.

When a student asks "teacher, do we really need to learn this? Are we ever going to use it?" The answer should be...If you learn it , maybe. If you don't learn it, you"ll never use it.

As the philosopher Forrest G. would say....." Thats all I have to say about that"

Taking a Break

I'm going to step back a bit from burdening everyone with my long winded posts. My focus was to promote that all humans are created equal with an equal amount of time in each day. I wanted to be one more voice that with hard work and skill training each individual can meet their potential. The hardness of the path is what gives the achievement its value. Serve others more than you demand others to serve you. Social assistance and social promotion is more likely to hurt you by reducing your need for skill acquisition. That's basically it. Because of believing these truths that should be self evident, @dunnkruger naturally aligns more with conservatives. These are not only conservative principles, they are available to all. It pains me to see people have been convinced that they are disadvantaged and are waiting to be lifted up. I fear that they will wait so long that they will never advance to their fullest distance. It is never too late to start. Please start now.

Serve Others

@dunnkruger was looking for secular comment on "serve your fellow man". But most were Biblical

Think about the result of serving others first VS waiting for others to serve you before reciprocating.

If everyone insist on being served before reciprocating, then everyone is just waiting and nobody recieves anything

If everyone serves initially, there is a pretty good chance that everyone will receive something from one or more.

Maybe this is why your may come at the end of the week. Maybe this is why the tip comes at the end of the me.

The Value of Work 0001

If
work = service to your fellow man
$ = reward for service to your fellow man
$ = work storage = service storage
$ = reward to others who serve you
Net service storage = wealth
Net service demand = debt
Therefore
It is better to serve others than demand service from others.
It is better to give than to receive.
