Religion of Elder Mining.
Some have faith believing that Religion is real, some are agnostic, and some are Atheist. Like the Monkeys said...I'm a believer. I'm not speaking to believers. Some may say that religion is a means of control and reject it. Please consider that there is a practical benefit to believing in a Judeo-christian God and all that comes with it. A religion that is free will, that you can accept or not as you like is fairly benign. It's not being forced on you. Its not like youre forced to convert or die. You will die. We all will die. It's more about making the best of the time you have. Look at it as a road map to living a good life. A how to book. Living well for Dummies etc. I'm not saying that anyone is a dummy. There is a series of how to / self help books like maybe Christianity for dummies. Oh, they have that. Maybe I need to read that. Anyway, people may reject religion because it has limiting rules. It says no alot. As a youth, there is an initial "you can't tell me what to do" rebellion. The terrible 2 years may in fact be an attempt for the individual to see if they can be leader of the pack. Yes, there is a fair amount of shalt not. Consider that a shalt not is there to provide direction and advice learned from the past mistakes of others. A this didn't play out well for me so don't do it. Don't lie, Don't steal, Don't cheat, Don't covet, Don't kill, Do treat others the way you want to be treated. All good stuff. The "Do unto others" is kind of the key. Among all of the people in the world you are only one. Your ability to individually wreak havoc on each and evry other individual in the world is fairly small. Conversely, if everyone or only a few of the others in the world focus on doing unto you, as you have done, the damage to you is catastrophic. These commandments are there more to protect you from others than to protect others. When you "Do unto others", you're kind of announcing to others and asking others to act similarly toward you. If you do well to others and they congregate to you then you benefit from their good will and together you can provide mutual protection of a community or society. The rules are limiting, but work and work well. In a mathematical sense, you are not the center of the universe. Neither is your neighbor the center. Think of it as a mutual center of gravity. Anyway, rules to help you avoid mistakes. If we were fish, there may be a don't bite at shiny things commandment. For dogs, don't chase cars. For humans its more like don't touch a hot stove. Sadly, some young'ns are like "you can't tell me what to do". So they "f" around and find out. Sometimes the stove is hot and you get burned. Sometimes you "f" around an then it's too late. You've made people. Then you were consevatively and traditionally obligaded to suck it up and be their leader. The answer of the left is to break a commandment. That's really the difference between the left and the right. The right is more about following the rules that have worked best throughout history. Live to build a good future. Make good choices. Take your lumps. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Build a great stable society that benefits all. The left is more do what feels good to you right now. If it ends poorly kill your child. If ends poorly, steal from your neighbor. Always covet your neighbor because they must have lied or cheated somehow to get what they have. They have failed to learn that success takes hard work and thus can't comprehend anything other than oppression or suppression. Living as a liberal is a high probability for failure endeavor. The success may be phenominal for some but its more like 1 out of a million with a thin peak in the bell curve. With left living, one may make 100 mil and most get 10k. With conservatism, the the bell curve peak may be lower but much wider. Maybe there is a 10 mil peak but with most at 100k. That's really the bargain. Would you rather be a rule follower and have a high probability to live a comfortable life in the U M.C. or would you play the lottery and shoot for the stars with a high probability of crashing to the ground and you stay there and you stay there.
And now for Elder Mining. Like a telescope that can see further into the past the further you can see, Elders are a look back in time. They were once young and cool. They've already experienced everything you've been through. They've likely already made mistakes that you have'nt. If you choose to engage them, they may be a recent wealth of knowlege on what works and what does'nt. Choose people who have succeeded. They have likely done it correctly. The downside is that you can only look back less than 100 years. The Bible and the rules of a religion that requires free will of acceptance can be a look back of multiple thousands of years. It is practical. Once you live it and see success from it, you to may too become a believer.
I'm going to step back a bit from burdening everyone with my long winded posts. My focus was to promote that all humans are created equal with an equal amount of time in each day. I wanted to be one more voice that with hard work and skill training each individual can meet their potential. The hardness of the path is what gives the achievement its value. Serve others more than you demand others to serve you. Social assistance and social promotion is more likely to hurt you by reducing your need for skill acquisition. That's basically it. Because of believing these truths that should be self evident, @dunnkruger naturally aligns more with conservatives. These are not only conservative principles, they are available to all. It pains me to see people have been convinced that they are disadvantaged and are waiting to be lifted up. I fear that they will wait so long that they will never advance to their fullest distance. It is never too late to start. Please start now.
IMHO the dirty little ...
@dunnkruger was looking for secular comment on "serve your fellow man". But most were Biblical
Think about the result of serving others first VS waiting for others to serve you before reciprocating.
If everyone insist on being served before reciprocating, then everyone is just waiting and nobody recieves anything
If everyone serves initially, there is a pretty good chance that everyone will receive something from one or more.
Maybe this is why your may come at the end of the week. Maybe this is why the tip comes at the end of the me.

If
work = service to your fellow man
$ = reward for service to your fellow man
$ = work storage = service storage
$ = reward to others who serve you
Net service storage = wealth
Net service demand = debt
Therefore
It is better to serve others than demand service from others.
It is better to give than to receive.
