I'M A ONE TRICK PONY....
BUT IT'S A GOOD SIMPLE BUT HARD TRICK.

Probably every one of my posts are about or related to working long and hard ( long and hard is good), having the grit to keep going, and treating people better than the way you want to be treated. I believe that it may be simple but universally effective and the normal state of Life and Success. If you can develop the basis or philosophy of life, it is much easier to look for empirical evidence to test its validity. Look to see if your core beliefs are proven out in society.

Case in point, aren't all movies about overcoming a hard struggle or achieving victory over adversity? How many movies celebrate victimhood? I don't know of any. In sports , it's always about who is the most fit or the underdog winning over the favored. You've seen Rudy. I don't recall any sports that have a designated out of shape team member who gets extra points for a score. I don't see any races ot 'athlons where the out of shape participate, much less, get a head start. The normal state is trying to achieve excellence and meritocracy. To my knowledge, there are no participation trophies for adults.

Reward for victimhood is not natural in normal life. Any reward received for anything other than merit is either charity or theft. Neither of those avenues are sustainable. If you are rewarded by charity of others you, by default are receiving only from the excess of another who has already satisfied his needs and are getting a portion of his left overs. If receipt of reward is thru right out theft or governmental theft and redistribution, you are again only getting a portion of the excess of others lest you kill the golden egg laying goose.

So, victimhood requires an individual to not strive for excellence and become self sustaining. Victimhood requires you to wait until someone else achieves excellence and then be given a piece of anothers excess. The victimhood approach always assures you to have less than others who choose to not be victims.

Rather than choose to be a victim, Your better bet is to work long and hard (long and hard is better), and never give up. Be the one who wins the sport of meritocracy. Be the charitable one who has the excess to be donated or stolen. It is very simple. It is also very hard. Get hard. Get your work on.

( I know this is a big Duh Huh to everyone here but something to think about if you try to reason with a lib or try to convince a victim to choose to be the man rather than beg from the man).
