After seeing that Trump delivered the commencement speech at 'bama. I thought what if he did other colleges or what if conservatives wrote and published the commencement speeches they would give if invited.

I'll go first. I am reposting what i posted last year after biden gave the commencement at Morehouse. I'm not a writer or speaker but neither is Joe. I know you can do better. Feel free to use bits as needed if worthy. You put your children out into the world.........

What if a Conservative Delivered the Commencement Speech ay Morehouse?

Maybe let's quit criticizing the pathetic pandering pitch of the Dem Party and just be who we are....better

The news cycle has probably moved on but I just can't get over how offensive Biden was directly to the face of the Morehouse class of 2024. Was Joe Biden the best speaker they could get? Was he the first choice? Did the Morehouse Administration feel obligated to Choose a Democrat? Did Joe Biden feel entititled to the invite? I would hope that Morehouse would consider a conservative in the future. If they had chosen a conservative in 2024, it could have gone something like this.

Congratulations Morehouse class of 2024. Through your hard work and perseverence over the last four years you have earned the right to join the rare and an impressive list of graduates from Morehouse College. While you have struggled and achieved at Morehouse since your acceptance for admission, the struggle and achievement as you know did not begin there. Your pursuit of excellence began at an early age when your parents worked hard with you to prepare you for elementary school and then worked with you thru kindergarten, elementary school and highschool to build you into the excelent student and individual worthy of receiving permission or permit to continue your path of hard work here. You have been lifted up by your parents, family, teachers, and fellow students. You stood on their shoulders and reached higher to get here. Then your struggle continued here. You now stand additionally on the shoulders of all of those Morehouse graduates who came before you.

Morehouse was chartered in 1867 only two years after the end of the civil war to educate former slaves to be ministers, and educators to serve and raise up their fellow man in the pursuit and achievement of excellence. It is thru the efforts of every class over the last 157 years that has made Morehouse the premier University that it is. It is through the efforts of every class since 1867 that created the value and presitge that a Morehouse degree holds.

While your degree from Morehouse is impressive, it is not a golden ticket. This degree is your permit to continue your struggle and pursuit of excellence at a higher level in all that you do. It is now your obligation like the graduates who came before you to continue serving your fellow man, building and maintaining the value of education and lifting up future generations to stand on your capable shoulders.

The path to excellence and acheivement is unending. As you continue to achieve at higher and higher levels the struggle is increased as is the acomplishment. You have the tools and the ability to succeed in your pursuit of happiness. You have already demonstrated that you are successful in making it this far. You already know that the path to get here was not easy. You have come far. If you have not already done so, find a field of endeavor in service to your fellow man. Find a path that you find rewarding an lean into it. Regardless of your choice be it Medicine, Law, Science, Engineering, Sport, Arts or Religion, you will be striving for excellence in providing service for the betterment of your fellow man through that chosen path.

Some people may tell you that you have to work twice as hard to ger "there" as the next individual. Do not let that discourage you as it is not true. If you do however feel that you need to work twice as hard, do it. You will find that it makes you twice as good. Some may say you should aspire to a life of ease. You can do that but that's not where the value, reward, and quality of life lies. The value and quality lies in the struggle to be better every day. The reward lies in the achievement of that betterment.

When someone says your life should be soft and easy, it is a message of ignorance or yet worse deceit in having you curtail your pursuit of excellence. It is as in most things that the truth is that the path is simple but the journey is long and hard. Always remember that long and hard is good. Soft is is bad and un rewarding.

I wish for you to choose the long and hard path to self sufficiency and beholding to none. I wish for you to be the master of your future and the maker of self sufficent masters of others in their own lives as well.

I encourage conservatives to post their commencement speech for Morehouse or an HBCU and show how it is done with the respect and encouragement it deserves.
