Cross train the National Guard, reserves, veterans, and law inforcement as US Marshall reserves.
Maybe Tump should back up and rethink his calling out the National Guard to crime ridden Democrat governed US cities. Unless Trump's strategy is that just by his suggestion of calling out the National Guard, criminals will self regulate and Democrat mayors will ramp up law enforcement measures, there may be a better way. Trump is only allowed to deploy the National Guard in DC without a Governor request. Even when deployed, National Guard Personnel are not directly making arrests. The law enforcement branch that appears to be suited and authorized to enforce federal laws is the
U.S. Marshalls. U.S. Marshalls report to the U.S. Attorney General. As long as Pam Bondi does not object, this could be the way?
Detractors of deploying the National Guard often say that that is equivalent to deploying military forces on U.S. soil against U.S. citizens. Except for a few full time administrative personnel, the National Guard is largely comprised of part time members who have an initial basic training and then serve one weekend per month and two weeks once a year. These members otherwise are regular citizens with regular civilian jobs. There is no reason that these same citizens could serve in their prizvate citizen careers as municipal or federal law enforcement. To my knowledge, membership in the National Guard would not preclude those ln the Guard from being a Federal Marshall Deputy. Provided that they are trained to be deputy marshalls, they could do both. If you can walk and chew gum as both citizens and guard members, you can easily add Deputy Marshall to the mix.
I still think that the benefit of Trump calling for guard deployment is likely a canary mission where you find out who opposes law enforcement in crime ridden neighborhoods and essentially promote the status quo in these cities. When the Chicago Mayor and Governor Pritzker oppose guard deployment, it could appear that they are supporting black and brown people killing black and brown people on the south side. I assume that they are in opposition of continued killings in Chicago, but the look is not good. When People rallied against guard deployment over the weekend, they self identified on camera as appearing to oppose this crime reduction strategy. That is also not a good look. @dunnkruger still believes that Trump should rally in Chicago. This should be a direct appeal to the citizens in Chicago to see if there is support for a Trump Intervention. So far we have only seen from those who appear to want to keep things just like they are. It is difficult to comprehend that there is not majority resident support for reducing crime in Chicago. It is hard to comprehend that the murder of 400 to 800 Chicagoan residents and the accompanying roberies, rapes, and assaults is accetable to a majority of Chicago voters. I hope that a plurality of Chicago voters want better.
If it is verifyable or evident that the people want federal help, maybe don't send the guard but send more federal marshalls.
Whe there's rampant Crime
in the neigh bor hood.

DC as of 25 09 05
DC crime stats show 104 * murders in DC as of 25 09 05. When Trump deployed the guard 25 08 12 Murder stats showed 101** murders.
There have been 3 or 4 murders in DC since Trump deployed the national guard on August 12th. It has been 29 days thus far.
(Use 25 to match the source of receipts). 4/25 = 0.16 murders per day or 1 murder every 6.25 days. This is based on the highest # of 4 murders for conservativsm. This equates to a yearly rate of 4/25×365=58 murders per year (if the guard were deployed since Jan 1st). This, comparatively, is astoundingly good although 0 is the desired goal. 58 Murders is still a tragedy. With 104 murders in 243 days to date, there are still 122 days to go.
If trends continue, DC could achieve as few as 104 + 4/25×122=124 murders in 2025. In the past 20 years of reporting, the murder count has never been below 58. Obama came close with 88 in 2012. Trump saw 116 in his first year in 2017 wich is the lowest since 2017. If Trump had not had to focus...
You say TomAAto. I say Tomaaato. let's hug the whole thing out
When Dem's won in 2020 they set out on a four year long cancel and suppress the opposition campaign of brute force do as I say or else We'll kick you while you're down. Look where it got them? Now they have lost friends, lost power, lost their way with no obvious way to recover. They are at their weakest. All they have to offer to their remaining base is fear of Trump and the right itself.
Let's resist the normal and understandable desire for payback and or retribution. That only plays into the Left's last strategy to hang on to their remaining core supporters. Marrianne Williams said in 2016 "love will win".....let's do that. Let's go straight on toward their core with love and friendship. Let's bring them into the Trump / Maga party of love. I think that Trump is doing now what he always does of offering platitudes of the qualities that he wants to see from someone. If they fail to meet those expectations, he then rips them to shreds.
Trump ...
The latest democrat strategy is to assert that REPUBLICAN POLICIES ARE CAUSING INFLATION IN THE PRICE OF BEER.
This is dumb because the consumption of alcohol is decreasing in the country particularly with the youth. This may be due to young adults switching to weed and other mood altering substances.
Per Fox and Friends reporting, the ad is misleading as the ad is tying the increase back to 2022 in the Biden admin. This is likely attributed to Dem policies and Dem inflation.
Republicans should have a website that shows the price change of the same products from 2022 to begin of the Trump 47 administration vs the change from begin of the Trump 47 admin to now.
My best guess is that with beer consumption decreasing that the remaining consumption is moving toward older consumers who are moving toward more upscale higher priced premium brands.
This is so stupid because dems are trying to reach the youth on inflation of a product that they are not consuming.
